The List of webcomics

3rd Voice - 3rd Voice is an ongoing fantasy graphic novel updating with one scene or so a week. It concerns a world in a state of apocalyptic crisis, and the precarious lives of many people therein. It launched in late 2022

A Redtails' Dream - "A Redtail's Dream" is a webcomic about a young man and his shapeshifting dog on an involuntary journey on the other side of the Bird's Path in the realm of dreams. They have to rescue their fellow Villagers before their souls pass on to Tuonela, the land of eternal sleep.

A Bettter Place -A young girl named Hannah and her brother Theo find something cool in the woods. Hannah then remakes the world. It is a Tapas.io webcomic so make do with that information

Back - About a gunslinger named Abigail and their quest to defeat King Dang and stop what he's doing.

Barbarous - A crummy wizard and an anxious monster have to get over themselves and bring order to an apartment building of Misfits

Brainchild - Brainchild is a story about paranormal phenomena, bad first impressions, wide-scale conspiracies, a whole bunch of mutants, and everything else your senior year of college can possibly throw at you

Bybloemen - Bybloemen takes place during the height of tulip mania, an absurd chapter in Dutch history when houses were mortgaged for flowers, a virus almost capsized an entire economy, and at least one visiting Englishman was jailed for roasting and eating a tulip bulb he mistook for an onion (possibly). The story follows the adventures of the three largely unknown (and unwitting) architects of this historical incident: a young merchant named Gertrude, a lesser devil named Basil, and his gifted apprentice, Ludwig. Also, several morally bankrupt birds, a pair of fertilizer salesmen, and the residents of one very unfortunately-named tavern.

Clown Corps - Clown Corps is a comic by Joe Chouinard about crime-fighting clowns. It’s pronounced “core.” Like marine corps.

Cucumber Quest - Cucumber Quest is a comic about bunny kids going on adventures and having fun.

Daughter of the Lilies - Thistle is just your average masked mage with a mysterious power, an enigmatic past, and, of course, the great burden of Destiny on her shoulders.

Demon's Mirror - So "Demon's Mirror" is a comic based loosely off of "The Snow Queen", a story by Hans Christian Andersen.

Fairmeadow - Content Warning: Fairmeadow is intended for a mature audience, and features scenes of violence, gore, war, PTSD, non-sexual nudity, bountiful swear words, and people generally being a bit shitty towards one another. Reader discretion is advised.

Goma, a wayward Orcish soldier, finds herself in Fairmeadow, a commune of pacifists deep in the Cascadian wilderness. Isolation has allowed the commune to thrive in the shadow of a century-long war, but Goma’s arrival brings troubling reminders of the world outside to those who have settled there in search of respite. Fairmeadow’s enigmatic leader, Sanctuary, finds his utopian vision challenged as he struggles to keep the peace. Their self-sufficiency exists on thin margins - margins that threaten to break if Goma cannot learn to live alongside those who she has sworn to fight.

Godslave - Godslave is about girl thrown into the drama and danger of modern day Egyptian Mythology!

Heroes of Thantopolis - Heroes of Thantopolis is a fantasy action-adventure comic about Cyrus, a young boy who was transported to the titular City of the Dead under mysterious circumstances. The conniving queen of the realm, Helene, taps Cyrus as her Champion and enlists him to fight against three wicked ghosts interested in taking over the city, in exchange for sending Cyrus home and getting his memories back. Luckily, Cyrus doesn’t have to do it alone. Along with his new ghost friends, Cyrus explores the afterlife, fights bad guys and unravels mysteries. Can Cyrus save Thantopolis? And is it really that his arrival in the city was random? Or is there more to Cyrus than it seems…?

How to be a Werewolf - Since being bitten by a strange wolf as a child, Malaya Walters has attempted to live a quiet life…hopefully a life free of attempting to eat her family or the customers at her family’s coffee shop. Being the only werewolf she’s ever known, Malaya has managed her condition by keeping tight control on herself and the world around her, with lackluster results. That is, until a strange guy wanders into her shop one day and introduces her to a whole world she never knew existed…

Laika's Comet - Laika, a dog-girl mechanic, travels across a post-apocalyptic Furth to repair farming equipment and various green-powered tech for citizens who can't do so themselves. Small-town hero by day, Laika and her adoptive father Yue seek to study the very thing that set Furth off kilter to begin with - a comet from deep space with mysterious powers. (Has a couple ways of reading this; a tumblr, a webtoon and a more traditional comicfury page).

Monster Pulse - Bina Blum has a strange encounter and then has her (literal) heart turned into some kind of monster, one loyal to her but still outside of her. It follows her story as she begins to unravel the mystery surrounding the strange phenomena while trying to hide her monster from the public.

Nasty Red Dogs - Large Content warning here for a bunch of stuff since it's a horror webcomic. It's 18+ and I would reccomend reading the about page on that. It's about some Nasty Red dogs and what happens on one fateful day / night when the moon looks like it splits into 3.

Never Satisfied - Never Satisfied is an webcomic about Lucy Marlowe, a magician's apprentice competing against other apprentices for an important magical government position, dealing with issues of class differences and how hard it can be to understand others.

Has been put on indefinite hiatus / isn't being picked up again because of a lot of things. The author goes into further length about this on the anniversary update post.

Owl People - Owl People is a dark fantasy comic about fairies living secretly in the margins of the human world. The story follows Vulpine, an exiled fairy struggling to find her way and remember her own past, and Mr Tyto, an Owl Person tasked with protecting the creatures of all the worlds that tumble through the Gyre and guarding the routes in and out. Featuring a terrible underground orchard, a coven of gay witches, an oracle of worms, fungi portals, travel-sized forest gods, sirens, goblins, devils, and a cute little bug in a hat!

Paranatural - Paranatural is a comedy/action comic about a group of superpowered middle schoolers fighting evil spirits and investigating paranormal activity in their hometown. Updates Tuesdays and Fridays!

Recoil - Recoil is a 14+ story about Kalo, a boy who discovers his powers in a deadly accident. He is snatched away and placed in super power therapy with a bunch of other angry and confused children. This story is meant to shine light on what it's like to be neurodivergent, queer, and living in a flawed system that often hurts more than helps.

Runaway to the Stars - Runaway to the Stars is a hard science fiction slice-of-life story focused on communication, accommodation, and everyday life in co-species spaces. The main storyline follows Talita, a centaur aerospace engineer and cross-species foster kid. More information about the universe can be found on my website. Runaway to the Stars updates every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. It is recommended for readers 16+, as it contains swearing, references to sexual culture, and obtuse adult life drama.

Sister Claire - a story about a Nun who finds out that they have a rather interesting fate. Personal opinion but it starts out at a weird spot but when it gets going it really gets going.

Skin Deep - When Michelle discovers she's the last living sphinx, she's suddenly thrown into a world where mythical creatures exist and have been living hidden from the rest of humanity, disguising themselves as humans and living in secret cities.

Snarlbear - SNARLBEAR is a comic about a girl's journey through the dangerous and colorful Rainbow Dimension. On the way she learns about the power of friendship and monster punching.

Stand Still, Stay Silent - "Stand Still. Stay Silent" is a post apocalyptic webcomic with elements from Nordic mythology, set 90 years in the future. It's a story about friendship and exploring a forgotten world, with some horror, monsters and magic on the side. (Current status on updates: the comic has finished as of March 2022! )

The Glass scientists - The city of London is not the safest place for mad scientists. Thirty years after the death of the infamous Dr. Frankenstein, its citizens have gotten awfully good at killing monsters, destroying laboratories, and generally wrecking anything new or strange-looking. Soon, every scientist within city limits will find themselves behind bars, unless someone can turn their luck around.

The Golden Boar - Updates Tuesdays & Thursdays! The Golden Boar is a 16+ fantasy comic set on the secluded island of Moonforest. The reclusive community living there has found a way to learn the secrets of magic, but are beset at night by spirits of the beasts of the forest, looking to take the secrets back. A chosen few, called Summoners, are able to call forth their own Guardian Beasts to fight them. One ambitious young Summoner is excited to call her own Guardian, but she ends up with something too hot for her to handle...

The Last Halloween - It's Halloween night and 10-year-old Mona is stuck inside without so much as a scary movie to watch. She figures this Halloween couldn't get any worse, but a giant monster appears in her living room to prove her very, very wrong. She is chased out into the night where she encounters some odd new friends and finds herself on a quest to save humanity from billions of monsters. Though Mona is the textbook definition of a reluctant hero, she and her friends will do their best to keep this from being... The Last Halloween.

The Property of Hate

The Witch Door - Katariina Lehto and Jousia Muotka are neighbors. They haven't talked to each other, until one day a mischievous cat leads Katariina into Jousia's apartment.

Katariina tells Jousia that she's a nurse, but not that she's on a sick leave because of burnout. Jousia tells her that he's a clairvoyant, but not that he's actually a witch. However, they find out about each other's secrets, and Jousia decides to help Katariina by introducing her to the many wondrous places behind a mysterious witch door.

Tiger Tiger - Tiger, Tiger is a story of a young noble lady, who steals her brother's identity and his ship to sail across the world to find love and adventure, and to write a book about her favourite subject: the fascinating life cycle of sea sponges!

Tigress Queen - Barbarian warlord Kizarasunga and pampered Prince Jintu meet face to face for the first time at the negotiation table to end a war that has been raging for decades. Tensions are already high when the Emperor proposes a marriage alliance that he’s certain could solve everything. Needless to say, it doesn’t go over well. …Or does it?

Vainglorious - When the small dragon Rei decides to challenge his Queen for the throne, he does not expect to get exiled and cursed into human form. Little by little, Rei searches for a cure in the vast world outside his nest — making friends, adventures, and headaches along the way.

Vattu - Vattu is an award-winning anthropological epic about empire and identity. It follows a girl from a nomadic culture caught in the midst of a clash of cultures. It was started in July 2010 and completed in September 2022

Witchy - In the witch kingdom Hyalin, the strength of your magic is determined by the length of your hair. Those that are strong enough are conscripted by the Witch Guard, who enforce the law in peacetime and protect the land during war. However, those with hair judged too long are pronounced enemies of the kingdom, and annihilated. This is called a witch burning.

Witchy is an ongoing webcomic about the young witch Nyneve, who is haunted by the death of her father and the threat the Witch Guard poses to her own life. When conscription rolls around, Nyneve has a choice to make; join the institution complicit in her father’s death, or stand up for her ideals?
